Guess who just kinda figured out bones again :D
Yeah, I'm talking about rigging and yeah it's not perfect and maybe it's only on a totally square object...
BUT IT'S NOT IN PMDE OR PMXE....

I FIGURED THIS OUT IN META!!!

Ok, so :iconwaltervd: and I were talking like we tend to do and trading off what we know about 3D modeling in general.
I brought up how it would be nice if Meta could rig like how I know Blender is able to do so.
Well, I remembered a little plugin called Keynote, as well as that Saboten has animated full videos within Meta before.

Example 1:

Example 2:

Example 3:

All three of those were confirmed as being animated and exported via Metasequoia,
and that's why they are so impressive.

So, I actually had a little fun with google today to try to see if I could figure out this whole bone thing
within Meta. (Cause I mean, if those 3 videos can come from Meta, how on earth have I not figured out
how to create a bone and make it work yet?)
Like I said, it's not perfect, it's only 2 bones, it's not even worth showing you guys because it's a stupid single
square, but it is a square that I can pose, rotate, move, and bend.
I might continue playing with this just to see if I can get it to actually work how I'm wanting it to.

I honestly don't know if the ability to rig within Meta would save me time on making a model or if it would only
be the same amount of time I spend in PMXE or close to.

*Edit*
Ok, so confirmed I can export an object with bones that do move, rotate, etc. within MMD.
NOw... how to move this knowledge to an actual model and not this rounded square...

You do can rig in meta.
I know how to make it auto rig to the bones but I have no idea how to manually rig it in meta though.

Usually, I will need to rerig the parts again in PMXe. >_>
